Hot chocolate

Luscious, leisurely lunches at Baileys of Glenrowan are now even more so with the arrival of our new wood-fired oven. Painstakingly built by local craftsmen, the oven is a welcome addition to the Old Block Café – a showpiece that fully embraces the principles of "slow food".

Enrich your senses with seasonal tastes from our wood-fired oven – a delicious range of slow-cooked food. In cooler weather, savour rich ragůs, roasted meats, crusty Italian-style breads and pizzas dressed with local produce, cheeses and vegetables. During the hotter months, enjoy summer salads, terrines and light Italian-style pizzas full of delicately infused flavours. And naturally, this being Baileys, there’s always some superb wine to go with it!

We have a cornucopia of offerings for sweet-tooths, too, such as freshly made ice cream, tortes, pastries and puddings – all the more indulgent when accompanied by a glass of Tokay or Muscat. Its glorious food, lovingly prepared: the perfect recipe for a perfect weekend.

Pizza shot

So take a relaxing foodie break from routine. Loosen up, unwind, soak up the historic ambience of our 140-year-old winery and relish the tranquillity of our gardens and views. Take the time to browse in our gallery of local artworks and to wander through our museum. Lounge around on the Pizza Oven lawn on a sunny day or snuggle up in winter on our fireside sofas (you’ll never want to leave).

The Old Block Café is open for lunch every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 2.30pm. Bookings are appreciated on 03 5766 2392.
