Glenrowan Winemakers' Weekend

Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th October 2009

Join us for the annual celebration Glenrowan Regional Dinner Saturday evening at Baileys. The Winemakers Weekend of the 3rd and 4^th October 2009 will be full of activity at a comfortable pace, for lovers of deep complex wines and wholesome food.

The Celebration Dinner on Saturday evening will be hosted by our seven regional wineries. Starting at 7pm for pre dinner drinks and canapés in the cellar door at Baileys, then residing to the Barrel room for a four course dinner, sourced from our finest of local and seasonal produce in the area, created and prepared by our local caterer. The dinner will be matched with our finest regional wines selected specially by the winemakers. We will have a band to get you going for the night and some wine games to test your knowledge.

 On Sunday our activities start with:- 

• 9-11 Breakfast with Nancy and Michael Reid at Auldstones Winery.
• 11-12 Wine appreciation sessions with Bob Morrison at Morrisons Winery
• 11-12 Balieys will be featuring Crostoli making with Cathy Pizzini this will include technique, recipe and tasting of the Crostoli with our Bundarra Dolce the perfect wine match.

On Sunday take the opportunity to share the magic of Glenrowan regional wines with the winemakers at Baileys, they will be hosting Granite Range, Morrisons and Goorambath Cellar Doors all in the one place. 

Tickets cost $120 each for the whole weekend which includes the wine, food and music plus Sunday’s breakfast and a winery event, as usual there’ll be a free shuttle bus service from Wangaratta to Glenrowan. 

Fabulous regional lunches and afternoon tea will be available between 12pm and 3pm at Baileys and Auldstones wineries, over the weekend for you to purchase.
